  • Author requests for book reviews. All categories of books are accepted, and there is no submission fee. Your book will not be returned to you--it will either be given to the reviewer or donated. There is always a chance that your book may not receive a favorable review, but keep in mind, we call it like we read it. If your book is reviewed, we will contact you.

If you have a book that you would like us to consider for review, please mail a hard copy to:

  • Dear Lee questions (send your questions to dearlee@writersnewsweekly.com and they may appear, answered of course, in an issue of WNW)

In regards to the approximated word counts for each type of submission: We don't want pieces that last for pages and pages, but we do want our writers to feel they have enough space to write what they want. If you send us something and are concerned about the length, whether you feel it's too long or not long enough, we can work with you to get it just right.

    Where to send submissions: submissions@writersnewsweekly.com

    Format: .doc

Where to send questions, comments, concerns: editor@writersnewsweekly.com

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, your piece may be refused or it may be backlogged for use in a future issue. We also stress that we will not accept every submission we receive - we judge content and quality and will not feature an article if we feel it does not work for WritersNewsWeekly.

If your submission is featured on WritersNewsWeekly.com you retain your rights to that piece but we ask that if it is published elsewhere at a later date please note that it was first featured on WritersNewsWeekly and provide a link to the article if possible.
