Where the Wild Things Are to Hit to the Big Screen (Finally)

The big-screen adaptation of the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak will hit theaters October 16, 2009. The film was supposed to be released almost a year prior to the new release date, however it is being reported that execs at Warner Bros. were not happy with live-action takes by director Spike Jonze. The new version will feature re-shoots, specifically smaller scenes, and will utilize CG animation to bring the Wild Things’ faces to life. Are you excited about this movie?
